The Core Youth and Community Centre is a vital and valued hub for Saltash. We are a safe, inspiring place for young people to connect, engage in sporting, creative and leisure activities, and to access essential youth services. And we’re a space for local groups to meet, providing a rich mix of clubs for the community in Saltash and beyond.

We have been lucky enough to have been offered a makeover for our cafe area by an organisation called ‘Volunteer it yourself’.
They bring together young people and trades people to work on community projects whilst also supporting young people to learn practical skills.
We are looking for young people aged 14-25 who are interested in going into trade professions and would like some hands on experience this summer. It would be a great addition to your CV!
The dates are August 4th, 5th & 6th based at The Core.
